Whenever I am playing a game online,I get half way through the game,and it stops.

Those interrupt may occur due some other reason, like link to the internet, not only memory. Better check it first.

If you decide to add memory:

First check what type of memory suitable for your motherboard.
Second open the casing see whether there is still empty memory slot for the memory or not.

Then buy it and place it in the slot
