How many are male, how many female?
Maybe I'm looking for translators, interpretors, speech pathologists, and so on.

Each branch has linguists. In Navy, they are CTs. I'd imagine upwards of 20,000 people. Probably 70 percent are male and 30 percent are female. Depending on the military branch.
