why cooking at home is healthier

Is cooking at home good?  Yes!  Cooking at home is not just good but healthier.  If your always cook your food at home, then you should be eating a healthier food.  In addition to eating a healthier food, you also consume diet with fewer calories.  According to an article by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health research, cooking at home is the main ingredient if one wants a healtier Diet.

In a research to examine national patterns in cooking frequency and diet quality among adults in the USA, overall and by weight-loss intention, it was found that cooking dinner frequently at home is associated with consumption of a healthier diet.(Wolfson, J., & Bleich, S. (2015)).  Wolfson also showed that people who cook at home eat a more healthy diet.  It is very important to  educate the public about the benefits of cooking food at home, identify strategies that encourage and enable  people to do more cooking at home, and help everyone, regardless of how much they cook, make healthier choices when eating.

Cooking food at home gives one control to avoid certain food allergens that would be inimical to ones health.  When you cook food at home, you have control of adding common food allergies like nuts, gluten, shellfish, etc to your food.

Let us consider the safety of food you eat at home.  According to CDC   illnesses associated with food affects 1 in 6 Americans every year.
