Question by Cassandra: How many books were done before Erin Hunter became famous?
I was curious, the writes who go under the name "Erin Hunter" has done many books but how many were done before she became famous?

She really didn't become famous until around the time 'A Dangerous Path' came out. Its the same with most authors who publish several books; they aren't noticed until they publish a few books, and then once someone important notices/a lot of people start reading, then they get famous. They don't get noticed usually until the second book. why? They don't have a fanbase. But once people read their first book, they become fans and they get excited for the next book. Thus making them 'famous'.
Same happened with J.K. Rowling and Stephanie Meyer. They didn't get famous until around their second books came out because no one knew what Twilight or Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone was about. But when New Moon and HP and the Chamber of Secrets came out, Rowling and Meyer had a fanbase who drew attention to their books.
