Typically, how many people are in a team? I know it varies based on the mission, but for a normal mission, like a hostage situation, how many would there be?

At least 6. But your right, it varies so much depending on the situation. Could be as high as 40-50 with several different organizations (rangers, seals, army special forces. marine recon. ) working together.
