Question by Nathan: How many rappers are actually from the hood?
I'm wondering which ones are actually from the ghetto like they say they are and how many are from middle class families. Please mention new ones like Kanye West and old school ones like Chuck D.

Most of them are. They aren't extremely ghetto....but they've grown up near 'slums'.
