Question by : Can any body tell me how many American nationals compared to Mexican nationals were at the rallies? They mention all these 1000's but how many were Americans & how many Mexicans. Or is this racial profiling. I believe that America would like to know. I thought that with all the scholars we have someone would know, but I guess I just expected too much. Oh, well!

Question by Michelle L: How many courses (dishes) is a typical American dinner a family is having at home ? So, strange question you might think, but I've been wondering about this for a while.
I do not mean how many courses you have at home, but how many is considered typical ?
Is it two, like the main course and the dessert or three like the starter, the main course and the dessert or just one or how many ?
How many course change is considered traditional ?
Thanks.

Answer by bbrzt Good question as Asians have many courses. The often have many main dishes, whereas Americans have one main dish.
In our family, where we eat all different kinds of foods, usually have one plate of food that contains our salad, main dish and starch. My kids are not much of dessert eaters.
When we lived with my husband's Filipino family, it was very customary to have 5-10 main dishes per dinner.
