How many people are playing dc universe?

what is the best answer to

Question by Aleksandar: How many people are playing dc universe?
how many people are playing this game and my other question is whats the best character for pvp? Im using circle fire handblasts? How is it?

Best answer:

Answer by grandfather raven
lots and lots of people still playing. USPC servers are full every day. i hear PS3 has even more.

there's no "best" for pvp (otherwise everyone would be using it). in general, melee weapons are "better" in that they hit harder and aren't as easy to counter.

nothing wrong with handblasters, but if you just stay back and use ranged, you're going to get lunged-hardstunned-killed in short order. mix it up with lunges of your own, and remember to block occasionally. :)

How many white dwarfs are there in the whole universe?

what is the best answer to

Question by : How many white dwarfs are there in the whole universe?
I need to know for a project, how many are there probably in space?

Best answer:

Answer by MKultra
Good luck on that! As the universe is infinite it would be a little hard detecting white dwarfs an infinite distance away!

Before you even start to calculate (how?) how many stars have become white dwarfs, like our sun?

People have estimated though the number of solar systems like ours with a white dwarf to estimate all those predictions of 'earth like planets'. I don't know how. I guess they estimate on what they can see and broadly extrapolate...

How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents

The Garcías—Dr. Carlos (Papi), his wife Laura (Mami), and their four daughters, Carla, Sandra, Yolanda, and Sofía—belong to the uppermost echelon of Spanish Caribbean society, descended from the conquistadores. Their family compound adjoins the palacio of the dictator’s daughter. So when Dr. García’s part in a coup attempt is discovered, the family must flee.

They arrive in New York City in 1960 to a life far removed from their existence in the Dominican Republic. Papi has to find new patients in the Bronx. Mami, far from the compound and the family retainers, must find herself. Meanwhile, the girls try to lose themselves—by forgetting their Spanish, by straightening their hair and wearing fringed bell bottoms. For them, it is at once liberating and excruciating being caught between the old world and the new, trying to live up to their father’s version of honor while accommodating the expectations of their American boyfriends. Acclaimed writer Julia Alvarez’s brilliant and buoyant first novel sets the García girls free to tell their most intimate stories about how they came to be at home—and not at home—in America.

ABOUT JABOB RISS AND HOW THE OTHER HALF LIVES

Poetically detailing the lives of the impoverished of New York City's tenement slums at the end of the 19th century, How the Other Half Lives not only brought Riis wide acclaim but also sparked vast social reform at the turn of the twentieth century. It was also one of the first books to use photographs instead of engraved illustrations, which were the standard for images in all forms of print at the time.

“Jacob Riis is the true Grandfather of Photojournalism,” proclaims bestselling author Lorenzo Domínguez. “Although film publicists have purported that Henri Cartier-Bresson deserves the title, he was not born until 1908, 18 years after Riis published How the Other Half Lives, a best seller that helped establish photojournalism as a true profession.”

In addition to pioneering socio-documentary photography, Riis was also a notable muckraker, a leader of social reform at the advent of the Progressive Era and a personal friend of President Teddy Roosevelt, who wrote in his 1913 autobiography “my whole life was influenced by my long association with Jacob Riis, whom I am tempted to call the best American I ever knew.”

Also an award-winning New York City street photographer, Domínguez recently restored, edited and published a new edition of this American classic, which is also now available for Kindles, iPads and most smartphones.

Best answer:

Answer by Hawk
Too many to count. Since there are over a million atoms on the end of a pentip, just think how many there are in the pen, then think how many there are in the world. Now think about the whole universe. Yeah, that's how many.

The largest number ever conceived is a googolplex, which is 10^10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

That's 100 if you are wondering. It is estimated that it would be impossible to write out that number because it would take up more matter than the universe contains.
