Question by Sandra: How many probes have been sent to Venus AND how many have landed?
I need to know how many landings have been on Venus and also how many were sent there. I need actual resources i'm doing this for all the planets so it'd help if there was resources Thanks :)

Here is a list of all of the space craft that flew past,orbited,or landed on Venus:
Venera 1 (USSR)- Type: Flyby
Mariner 2 (USA)- Type: Flyby- December 14, 1962
Zond 1 (USSR)- Type: Orbiter
Venera 2 (USSR)- Type: Flyby
Venera 3 (USSR)- Type: Atmosheric Probe- lost communications and crash landed on Venus.
Venera 4 (USSR)- Type: Atmospheric Probe- Arrival date:Oct. 18, 1967. First probe to send back atmospheric data.
Mariner 5 (USA)- Type: Flyby- October 19, 1967
Venera 5 (USSR)- Type: Atmospheric Probe- Arrival- May16, 1969 burned up in atmosphere
Venera 6 (USSR)- Type: Atmospheric Probe- Arrival- May 17,1969- returned data down to within 11 km. of Venus' surface.
Venera 7 (USSR)- Type: Lander- Arrival- Dec. 15, 1970- first succesful landing on another planet.
Venera 8 (USSR)- Type: Lander- Arrival- July 22,1972- returned data for 50 minutes.
Mariner 10 (USA)- Type: Flyby- Arrival- Feb 5, 1974- probe actually for Mercury
Venera 9 (USSR)- Type; Orbiter- Arrival- Oct. 22, 1975
Venera 10 (USSR)- Type: Orbiter- Arrival- Oct. 25, 1975
Pioneer 12 (USA)- Type: Orbiter- Arrival- Dec. 4, 1978
Pioneer 13 (USA)- Type: Atmospheric Probe- Arrival- Dec. 9, 1978- dropped 4 probes through atmosphere.
Venera 11 (USSR)- Type: Flyby- Arrival- Dec. 25, 1978
Venera 12 (USSR)- Type: Flyby- Arrival- Dec. 21, 1978
