Two.

1.Bill passes through each house of Congress, passing with 2/3rds majority in each (how all our amendments have been ratified thus far).

2.A Constitutional Convention proposed by 2/3rds of states, where they come up with the proposed amendments which need to be passed by 3/4ths of the states. (never been used yet).

I know only 10 of them were first accepted. But how many were proposed?

Also what is the difference between the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution?

Twelve were originally proposed on September 25, 1789.

The first two dealt with Congressional pay and Congressional representation. Amendments three through twelve were ratified on December 17, 1791, and became known as the Bill of Rights.

The Amendment dealing with Congressional pay (the second) was not ratified until May 7, 1992 and became the 27th amendment.
