i want to know that how many languages are spoken in india and how many are registed and which are they.

Thers 2 main groups Dravidic ( Tamil Nadu) and Indo European Hindi.
Hindi, Urdu,Punjabi,Shindi,Gujerati are some among many North Indians Indo European dialects they are similar
Tamil, Telegu and .... hmmm many more form the Dravidic Asian language
