The Second Edition of the Oxford English Dictionary contains full entries for 171,476 words in current use. An ordinary person will have around 5000-600 words in their vocabulary, but the more highly educated someone is the larger their vocabulary will be. The estimates for the number of words a person says per day are: male = 6073 words per day; female = 8805 words per day.

That's an impossible question to answer. We cannot possibly know exactly how many were made: no one was keeping count, and we have no way of knowing how many have been destroyed.
As for how many survive, there is no one record. You could make inquiries of every museum that holds such works, but that would take quite a while. Moreover, I can assure you that there are some surviving works that remain undiscovered. Every now and then, something turns up.
