I was wondering if the gaming computer I was building could run Battlefield 3 and 2 on ultra settings while still getting a good framerate. Also, fell free to point out anything wrong with my build.

Here are the specs:

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K (3.4 ghz Quad Core)

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Video RAM

RAM: CORSAIR XMS3 16GB 1600 DDR3

Audio over DVI port to TV HDMI
Just wanted to post a video demonstrating that you can, in fact, push audio across a DVI port. Video cards: MSI Twin Frozer II gtx 560ti Cable: DVI TO HDMI cable Reason this works: I'm assuming it's because the video cards have a mini HDMI out port on them, requiring them to also pass through audio. Please note that I did not plug in any audio cables from the motherboard to the cards. They are only connected via PCI-e

Hi

4 GB of DDR2 RAM is very good, and the quad core processor will be excellent for gaming in the future (although only dual core is needed at the moment, and your motherboard will be obsolete before games switch to quad core). Any new operating system is terrible, and windows vista is no different. There are always compatibility problems and other minor issues of annoyance - stick to xp until it's absolutely necessary.

I believe after this evaluation that the 8600 GT, 512 MB is slowing GTA: IV down, causing much lag. Let's remember that Rockstar's latest game is very demanding. The 8600 GT is quite an average graphics card, as it's 1 year and 9 months old. I recommend you replace it with at least an ATI RADEON 3870 or a NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT.

I'm getting around 20 fps on high settings. I even tried Auto settings and it got the same thing.

It's enough to run the game, but unfortunately not on high settings. I have an HD 6850, and it doesn't even run the game smoothly at high settings at 1080p resolution ( about 30 fps)

Try manually turning down the details and/or resolution of the game until it look smooth.
