Question by Some Dude: Why is it a bad thingg that Alienware has been bought out by Dell? I recently found out that Alienware has been bought out by Dell, i know it's old news, but it's new news to me since i've been recently thinking about buying an alienware, so i have been doing some research.
A lot of people are talking negatively about the fact that Alienware was bought out by Dell, why?
Has dell weakened the power of the computer or are they charging more or what? What's wrong with Dell owning Alienware?
(Note, i want to by an Alienware to play computer games on)

Answer by warhawk887 Dell really didnt do anything but buy alienware cause alienware wouldnt have enough founds to keep going.DONT BUY ALIENWARE IM SERIOUS dont. its way overpriced i bought one like 4years ago now i have trouble upgrading parts. YOU PAY FOR THERE LOGO NOT THERE comptures. I spend 1,000$ on my comp which i could of gotten better for 500$ i suggest Ibuypower.com. i was just like everyone else "omg alienware there the best there the best on the market" no there not. The only good comps they have and would last are the 5,000$ ones. i have to upgrade my processor but guess what? my comp probally cant run dual core nor quad core. and too be able to do that i would have to buy a new motherboard oh and replace my graphics card i bought 2 years ago. OH and that they gave me a 75 GB hard drive my dads comp that is twice as old as mine have 180GB yes he has a crappy like 200-300$ comp that has more hard drive then mine. ibuypower.com is the best i compared there 611$ comp with the alienware 1,400$ there practically the same. expecpt alienware has a liquid cooling. Dont fall into there trap. EITHER BUILD YOUR OWN COMP or buy off ibuypower.com thats what i am doing i regret ever buying alienware. All you get is a 40LBS tower with the Alienware logo and bragging rights saying you got an alienware even tho it sucks. there overpriced.

Question by Cheapsocks: How can I find out how many copies of a particular book have been printed and sold? I want to know how many copies of a particular book were printed and how many were sold. It is currently out of print. Where can I find this information?
Best answer:
Answer by Kathryn W What country was the book published in? This is only a guess, but the national library of that country may have some information. Otherwise (and I do not know how successful you will be,) you could consider contacting the publisher.

“No other modern country gives corporations the unfettered power found in America to gouge customers, shortchange workers, and erect barriers to fair play. A big reason is that so little of the news . . . addresses the private, government-approved mechanisms by which price gouging is employed to redistribute income upward.”
You are being systematically exploited by powerful corporations every day. These companies squeeze their trusting customers for every last cent, risk their retirement funds, and endanger their lives. And they do it all legally. How? It’s all in the fine print.
David Cay Johnston, the bestselling author of Perfectly Legal and Free Lunch, is famous for exposing the perfidies of our biggest institutions. Now he turns his attention to the ways huge corporations hide sneaky stipulations in just about every contract, often with government permission.
Johnston has been known to whip out a utility bill and explain line by line what all that mumbo jumbo actually means (and it doesn’t mean anything good, unless you happen to be the utility company). Within all that jargon, disclosed in accordance with all legal requirements, lie the tools these companies use to rob you blind. Even worse is what’s missing—all the contractually binding clauses that companies hide elsewhere yet still enforce and abuse. Consider, for example, how:
An insurance company repeatedly delayed paying for a paralyzed man’s vital care despite court orders to pay up.
Laws in nineteen states let companies like Goldman Sachs, General Electric, and Procter & Gamble pocket the state income taxes withheld from their workers’ paychecks for up to twenty-five years.
A little-known government rule gives safety waivers to deadly industrial facilities secretly located underneath schools and playgrounds.
The “FCC Charge” on your phone bill, which appears to be a government fee, actually goes straight to the phone company.
Johnston shares solutions you can use to fight back against the hundreds of obscure fees and taxes that line the pockets of big corporations, and to help end these devious practices once and for all.

In the forty years since Max first cried "Let the wild rumpus start," Maurice Sendak's classic picture book has become one of the most highly acclaimed and best-loved children's books of all time. Now, in celebration of this special anniversary, introduce a new generation to Max's imaginative journey to Where the Wild Things Are.
Where the Wild Things Are is one of those truly rare books that can be enjoyed equally by a child and a grown-up. If you disagree, then it's been too long since you've attended a wild rumpus. Max dons his wolf suit in pursuit of some mischief and gets sent to bed without supper. Fortuitously, a forest grows in his room, allowing his wild rampage to continue unimpaired. Sendak's color illustrations (perhaps his finest) are beautiful, and each turn of the page brings the discovery of a new wonder.
The wild things--with their mismatched parts and giant eyes--manage somehow to be scary-looking without ever really being scary; at times they're downright hilarious. Sendak's defiantly run-on sentences--one of his trademarks--lend the perfect touch of stream of consciousness to the tale, which floats between the land of dreams and a child's imagination.
This Sendak classic is more fun than you've ever had in a wolf suit, and it manages to reaffirm the notion that there's no place like home.
