I want to know how many copies of a particular book were printed and how many were sold. It is currently out of print. Where can I find this information?

What country was the book published in? This is only a guess, but the national library of that country may have some information. Otherwise (and I do not know how successful you will be,) you could consider contacting the publisher.

tI don;t know if they keep track of 1st day - and it's only one song, but there are lots of ALBUMS (multi-song CD's, vinyl) that have sold well over a million copies in it's first week - individual songs in the "download era" have sold in the multiple 100's of thousands of copies the first week
