I play Oblivion and other games like anarchy on line and guild wars how do you think this computer will work for me?
Its costs $ 600
I check each price one by one and they added up to $ 670

Best answer:

Answer by Kian
how much is it?
sometimes whole package is cheaper when you build it yourself.
for the same price you CAN build a BETTER spec pc.

but for the games that you listed it should be ok.

sometimes they buy the low quality stuff and put it inside and sell it high... dont get caught with the "oh this one got more ram, oh this one is faster"

edited

try to check their price one by one. then combine all of it then see if it is cheaper or no.

thats what i do

Looking to run modern FPS's at around 50 or 60 fps and most RTS's at around 70 fps both on high settings. Wondering if it would be better to upgrade the graphics card or the processor. Thanks for the input!

You should edit this question and take out the empty lines.
To answer the question:

I have a Noctua CPU cooler and its runs beautifully. Not to mention it's got a far better reputation that XtremeGear.

If you don't use Camera Flash cards, then the reader is pointless and a waste of case space.

Get a bigger power supply to 800W in case you want to upgrade video later or crossfire.

Blu-ray burner's are pretty cheap, so you may as well get one instead of DVD burner.

If you've got extra cash, invest in a small size SSD, like 64 GB or 128GB and install your OS (Windows 7) on it. Then you can install some games and leave data like photos, music, files for your HDD. Windows will boot in about 3 seconds on SSD and programs will run great.

Never heard of PMPO speakers. Logitech are usually pretty good and cheap.

Never heard of the mouse. Logitech make great mice and keyboards as well.

Corsair CML8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) Vengeance DDR3 for RAM or 2x2GB kit, whichever u prefer.

If you're after a quiet box, then opt for your big fans like you've done with the 120mm.

Would you go to a free Gaming Cafe?

Question by metalgear332001: Would you go to a free Gaming Cafe?
I have recently asked for advice about gaming cafes. I seen that many Gaming Cafes ran out of Business within a 3 year time period so I was forced to rethink my business approach. I came up with a plan that many other companies do. I will provide free internet and gaming services to costomers. costomers will have 1 hour to play on any gaming console station or any Gaming PC station free and then if they choose to play again they will have to sign back in and wait until another station is available (by doing that this will allow other people to have their turn on the computer and gaming station) The gaming console stations Will range from PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii each gaming console will included

52" 120 LCD HDTV
5.1 Surround sound
1 controller (second by request at the service desk)
and there choice from a large catagory of games to choose from

The Gaming PCs will range from Mid-end to High-end The Middle-end PC station will have....

24" monitor
2.1 speakers with the following specs

CASE - Ultra eTorque ULT33180 Mid-Tower ATX Case W/ 2 ThermalTake Smart Blue 120mm LED Case Fan Blue
CPU - Intel Pentium D 940 Processor 3.20GHz, 4MB Cache, 800MHz FSB, W/ PowerUp P4 CPU Cooling Fan
MotherBoard - Asus P5N-D Motherboard - NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI
Hard drive - 2 TB (1x2) Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB Hard Drive - 7200RPM, 32MB, SATA-300
bay drive - Sony DRUV200A/BR DVD/CD Drive
memory - OCZ Fatal1ty Dual Channel 2048MB PC8500 DDR2 1066MHz
Power Supply - PowerUp GEN-6802 800-Watt Power Supply
Sound Card - Creative Labs X-FI Xtreme Gamer Fatality Sound Card
Video Card - GeForce 8800 Ultra Video Card 768MB DDR3
OS - Windows Vista Ultimate SP1

The high-end gamer pc will have a 40" LCD HDTV, logitech z-5500 5.1 surround sound and the pc will have the following specs

Case - Lian-Li Aluminum Full Tower Case - Black
CPU - Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 (Quad core) Processor 3.20GHz, 12MB Cache, 1600MHz FSB
CPU Fan - ChillTec Thermal Electric CPU Cooler
Motherboard - EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard
Hard drive - 4TB (1x4) Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB Hard Drive
Power supply - Ultra X3 ULT40064 1000-Watt Power Supply
Memory Ram - 4GB (2x2) Crucial Ballistix Dual Channel 2048MB PC16000 DDR3 2000Mhz Memory
Sound Card - Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Pro
Video Card - 2 GeForce GTX 280 Video Card - OC Edition, 1GB GDDR3
OS - Windows Vista ultimate SP1

Games will vary apon the 2 type of PCs (Mid-end and High-end) accessories (pc gaming controllers, steering wheels, memory sticks, ect) can be requested at the service desk.... I plan to also sell Video games, gaming consoles, PC parts, PCs, PC repaire and also offer food for sale. I will hold tournaments every saturday that award prizes to the winner(s)... What do you think of this approach? Will I attract more costomers if I look for a building by school and major highway or to look for a space to rent in a Mall? I would apreciate any comments, suggestions, and advice. Thanks

GIGABYTE AMD 990FX, Z68 Gaming and X79A-UD3 mobos detailed
www.tweaktown.com COMPUTEX Taipei 2011 - As well as stopping by the notebook department during our GIGABYTE visit on the 36th floor at Taipei 101 today, we of course made a stop with the motherboard who had no shortage of new motherboards to show off. Dino from GIGABYTE Australia was on hand to introduce three new boards, but kind of got a little shy when it came to the third and very new board. We got a look at their new AMD 990FX motherboard that was released today that finally brings all the big GIGABYTE features to the AMD platform in the flavor of the UD7. Next up we also got a look at the Z68-Gaming motherboard. You might remember the previous range of gaming series motherboards from GIGABYTE based on the P65 chipset. The word was that if that range was successful and sold well, the gaming series would continue. Obviously it was a successful move by GIGABYTE to focus more on gamers and sales must have been good as we get the new Intel Z68 chipset with gaming mobo treatment from the Taiwanese mobo maker.

For that, because of so many specs and modifications, I would probably pay $ 700 for it, but this isn't a place to sell your stuff. This is the video game section, not the consumer electronics.

The only thing that matters is the processor, RAM, and graphics card. The only thing that might hold you back here is the processor.

If your OS is XP, then you should be fine, keeping in mind that you won't have DX10 settings available. Even if it's Vista, your 4 GB of RAM cover it.

Of course, don't run a bunch of background processes.

You should be fine though, all things said.

I wont be able to change anything but tell me if anything is bad please.

It looks great to me, and all for $ 463! That is good I think because the ram is good the graphics card is relatively modern but the cpu isn't as good compared to all the rest. Don't get me wrong, its not bad at all but you would expect a quad core with all of this.

But overall, most games you will be able to play on high settings I think

what should go in my gaming rig?

Question by Taylor: what should go in my gaming rig?
I have been out of the PC Gaming world for about 6 years now so many things have changed. I am tired of console gaming and want buy a real nice gaming rig. I am looking at a budget of around $ 1500. What would you put in it? The only things i know for sure is that I want it to be Intel and I want the option of having dual graphic cards. Just tower no monitor.

I did a little looking, found some components that are pretty high end. Many are top of the line and cheaper, slightly less capable parts could be chosen instead. Others are just personal preference, such as the tower or if you want Blu-Ray or an audio card.

Mid Tower: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146028

Dual Core: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115054

RAM (optional to add 8gb): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227405

Hard Drive (1Tb is a lot, but you could add more): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136284

Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817189022

Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143167

As I said, you can completely customize the parts you want. I didn't include a floppy drive, audio card, wireless card, etc. If you do a little research you can figure out what other components you might want to add. You mentioned the possible desire for SLI, which will increase your gaming power, but nVidia will probably be releasing their newest card this fall which promises to be leaps ahead of current cards. In case you didn't notice, I did most of my searching on Newegg, which usually has great prices and service. TigerDirect also has good deals. Make sure the monitor is worthy of the video card, at least a 1440x900 resolution. Aftermarket cooling devices might be a good idea for you to check out as well.
