How to Install Memory (RAM) into a Computer
The memory used in this video is a pair of 4GB DIMMS (totaling 8GB) of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 memory clocked at 1600MHz and the motherboard is the ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Performance motherboard. Steps: 1. Unlock the DIMM slots by pressing the retaining clips outward. 2. Line up the notch on the DIMMs with the breaks on the slots and push them in. 2a. If the retaining clips don't automatically close, close them yourself. Remember to make sure that when installing your RAM you only install it into slots of the same color so that the motherboard can activate the multi-channel memory technology. All you have to do beforehand is make sure your motherboard is compatible with your RAM. This means if your RAM is DDR, DDR2, or DDR3, your board must be compatible with that type. If it's not, you'll know because the breaks in the DIMM slots are different for each of the types of RAM. Also, it's more stable and you'll get more speed by using fewer memory modules. So rather than loading a board up with 4 or possibly even 8 DIMMs, try to keep it down to 2 or 4 in order to increase the speeds that your system will be capable of achieving. it seems pretty good but, you might want to get more RAM as 2045MB is running low, but everythign else seems good

That is overkill, I ran wow on a computer with onboard 256gb graphics + 1 gb ram and it worked ok, your computer will run it like a champ.

Hello,

Yes, your computer is good enough to host a Minecraft server for 5-8 people. I host a server for 10-20 people on a 2004 computer so yours is more then good enough.

Looks like the layout to ibuypower... good choice if that is the case, I am currently on my paladin from them =)

-You may want to take away the thermal grease unless you are a professional, newcomer's do not need that as it is a manual application item.

-Also you may consider 6gb of RAM, can't play high end games without that much these days (with high settings that is)

Kudos to Gigabyte's Global Technical Service who outlined most of the steps, before downloading the essential EZ Smart Response utility from Gigabyte's website. Gigabytes launch of its Z68 motherboards enabled iSRT which allows people to use lower capacity SSD as well as a traditional HD to get complete system wide performance as if they were using a higher capacity SSD. MicroCenter technicians let me watch them do it the old fashioned way. Well, Gigabyte's EZ Smart Response (EZSR) utility makes it simpler (not simple) and faster for DIY. I wasn't lucky enough to get the iSSD bundled, so I purchased the Intel 311 through Amazon. What makes the standard installation complicated, without the EZSR utility, is that the BIOS must be set up in RAID mode before installing the operating system (OS), and when finished the BIOS will be set in IDE mode. The EZSR utility does it all, after you select optimize the BIOS for IDE, and install the OS. I think so. Processor certainly is. I don't know how ATI names their cards (nVidia does it so much more clearly), but WoW is very underpowered graphically compared to most same-era games - you can probably run it on high on almost any computer on the market right now.
