Question by kidberg0509: Why does my laptop have severe lagg sessions occassionally while playing World of Warcraft? While playing World of Warcraft, my computer has occasional lag sessions that make it almost impossible to play the game. I have tried to figure out the problem and have yet to do so. I thought it may be my wireless connection. However, after plugging the connection straight into the computer and trying it that way, the lag sessions still continued. Before the lag sessions will quit, I have to exit the game and restart it about 20 seconds later. However, its not long till they begin again. Can anyone please help me? Answer by Ian Do the other players seem laggy to you, (i.e. jumping all over the place,) or does the game itself run poorly? If it's the latter, your computer might be overheating. That's the only reason I can think of for the problem to be occurring in spurts.

Best answer:
Answer by boatingman I had the same problem. What is you have to go get memory from either the Geek Squad in BestBuy or any other memory, but first see if it is DDR3 or DDR2 and you have to see how much you need for 8GB it was $ 57.00 in Maryland

Answer by Zikro Well your processor is quite impressive. Two cores are an excellent move if you are a gamer but 1.66ghz is a slightly dissapointing speed. These are the minimum system requirements provided by the Windows Game Advisor:
Processor: Intel Pentium III 800MHz Graphics Card: DX9 compatible 32MB Memory: 256MB Disk Space: 4.0GB Operating System: Microsoft Windows 98
So you should be fine although not sure about the graphics card. Maybe an upgrade is necessary but the numbers look good. Have fun! Oh and if you enjoy World of Warcraft then check out LOTRO.
